Scale your label dose
Copy the dose from your bottle. Enter the water volume you need to treat.
Use the volume the label tells you to treat: replacement water or the whole tank. Tank size includes space taken by decor.
Enter three positive numbers to calculate.
Follow the current bottle’s directions, treatment schedule and animal restrictions. Use a suitable measuring tool; do not round a fractional drop or scoop on your own.
Questions
Where do I find the dose?
Use the current label on your exact product. Enter its amount and the water volume it treats. Different formulas and concentrations can have different directions.
Should I enter the whole tank or only replacement water?
Follow your product’s directions. Some products specify replacement water; others specify the whole tank. The calculator only scales the volume you enter.
Does this choose a medicine for my fish?
No. It performs a proportion calculation. Diagnosis, product suitability, repeat doses and restrictions for sensitive animals need to be checked separately.
