Care notes

Whisker shrimp come from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei and Laos and are usually under 1.5 inches. They are active at night, males are territorial, and they breed in fresh water.

Keep them in their own tank of 10 gallons or more with a lid. Cherry and Amano shrimp, small snails and guppy-sized fish are on the menu; in shops they are often mixed up with ghost shrimp.
